Purple Foundation is thrilled to unveil the first chapter in a thrilling three-part series of unforgettable afterhours events for PPW25. One thing we have learned through our experiences is that afterhours truly reigns supreme on this weekend, and we are committed to continuously enhancing the experience for our attendees. Our philosophy embraces the importance of perpetual improvement and being prepared with multiple contingencies to ensure a seamless event. With this commitment in mind, we are excited to implement significant enhancements this weekend, elevating your afterhours experience to an entirely new level. We will be rolling out more announcements as we unveil additional afterhours events over the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more exciting details!

Focusing on our first afterhorus event, AFTERBURN, we are proud to welcome back two Texas stars renowned for their prowess in the afterhours scene. Kicking off the night is the rising talent from Houston, DJ Geovanni Pacheco. Although relatively new to the scene, DJ Geovanni has quickly climbed the ranks, captivating audiences with his fresh beats.

As the night progresses into the early morning, we are thrilled to announce the performance of San Antonio's own DJ Rue D, a breakout star who has garnered a following for his electrifying sets and undeniable talent. Together, these two DJs are set to deliver an incredible night of music, dancing, and the unforgettable memories that only happens at afterhours.

Rue D ⏐ 🇺🇸

DJ Rue-D was born in Fredericksburg, Texas, and raised in the Texas/Mexican border town of Eagle Pass. He was heavily influenced by both his Mexican native parents listening to Cumbias and Rancheras which would later inspire him in his style of music.

He developed a love for electronic music at a young age and became interested in DJing after attending several underground raves in the early 2000s. Rue-D is a self-taught DJ teaching himself the art of beat matching on vinyl as a hobby.

Over the years, Rue-D's passion for music took a back seat to other pursuits, but in 2020, he reignited his passion for DJing and through hard work and determination found himself on the main stage of many big-name parties and nightclubs. His energic beats have transformed him into one of the newest fastest growing in demand DJs that can keep the crowds engaged from start to finish. Rue-D's style is a fusion of various electronic genres including tribal, big room, and progressive house with his Mexican roots exposed. He is known for his high-energy performances and ability to connect with his audience. Rue-D has honed his skills through his self-taught techniques and dedication to the craft.

He has played at various events in his home state of Texas, across the United States and across the border in Mexico. He has performed for parties such as BexarHaus, RAM, MEAT, Reload, LPN, Furball, DVNRMX, Purple Party, Medusa, House of Fuego, Babel Club among many others.
